Privacy Policy
GrowthMD is built around one principle: patient data never leaves your device.
GrowthMD ("we", "the app") does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or patient data on external servers. All information you enter is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's encrypted SwiftData framework and is protected by iOS device encryption.
All data entered into GrowthMD is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any backend servers and have no mechanism to access your data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
GrowthMD does not currently sync data to iCloud. A future update may add opt-in iCloud backup. When introduced, it will use Apple's encrypted iCloud infrastructure and will remain fully under your control.
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. GrowthMD never has access to biometric data and cannot read or store it.
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. GrowthMD does not receive or store your payment information. Subscription status is verified locally using Apple's StoreKit 2 framework.
GrowthMD does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external communication the app performs is with Apple's App Store servers for purchase verification.
GrowthMD is a professional clinical tool intended for use by healthcare providers. It is not directed at children. Patient data entered by clinicians is stored locally and never transmitted.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes.

Yes. All data is stored on-device only using Apple's encrypted SwiftData framework. GrowthMD has no servers — nothing leaves your phone or tablet.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The free tier supports up to 5 patients with all 4 growth standards and unlimited measurements. Pro unlocks unlimited patients, PDF export, and Face ID / biometric lock.
Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes — Pro comes with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime from your iPhone's App Store subscription settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the App Store → tap your profile picture → Subscriptions → GrowthMD → Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
I switched phones. How do I restore my purchase?
Open GrowthMD → Settings → Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID used to purchase and your Pro status will be restored instantly.
Which growth standards are included?
All four: CDC 2000 (ages 0–20), WHO 2006 (ages 0–19), Fenton 2013 (22–50 weeks GA for preterm infants), and Down Syndrome charts (ages 0–18). All standards are available on both Free and Pro tiers.
Does the app work offline?
Completely. GrowthMD is fully offline-first. All growth curve data is bundled in the app — no internet connection required for any feature.
