What Pali does
Daily check-in
Your average pain from 0 to 10, and how much it got in the way of daily activities, enjoyment of life and sleep. Mood, where it hurt, medication, triggers, relief and a note are optional.
Body map
Mark where it hurt, front and back, with an intensity for each spot.
Flares
Log a moment of stronger pain when it happens, so the day's average stays an average.
Weekly check
The PEG scale (pain, enjoyment of life, general activity), a short validated measure used to follow chronic pain over time.
History
A calendar of your days. Tap a day to see its details, or log a day you missed.
PDF report
A one-page summary of the period you choose, ready to share with your care team.
Apple Health, if you want
See sleep, steps and cycle next to your pain. Read only.
Reminders
A daily reminder at the time you choose, and one for the weekly check.
Pali is a diary, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice. Always follow your care team's advice.
Available in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Requires iOS 17.6 or later.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
In short: your diary stays on your iPhone. We don't collect, see, sell or share what you log.
This policy explains how Pali: Pain Diary ("Pali") handles your information. Pali is developed by Pytyvo Labs (CAMILE ALVES ANCINES LTDA, Brazil).
1. Information we collect
None. Pali has no account, no server and no cloud sync, so we have no way to see what you log.
2. What Pali stores on your iPhone
Your check-ins, flares, weekly checks, body map, medications, triggers, relief, notes and settings are stored only on your device and protected by iOS data protection.
If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, your diary is included in those backups. They are managed by Apple under your account, and we have no access to them.
3. Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Pali reads sleep, step count and menstrual flow to show them next to your pain, in the app and in your PDF report.
- Pali never writes anything to Health.
- Pali doesn't store Health data. It reads it when needed and keeps it out of backups and exports.
- Health data is never used for advertising and never shared with anyone.
You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app (your profile, then Apps, then Pali) or turn it off in Pali under Settings > Apple Health.
4. Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing goes through our servers, because we don't have any.
5. Sharing and exports
Your data leaves your iPhone only when you choose: when you share a PDF report, a backup file (JSON) or a spreadsheet (CSV). Once sent, a file is handled by the app or person who receives it. Importing only adds data from a file you pick.
6. When you contact us
If you write to dev@pytyvolabs.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. The feedback email Pali prepares adds the app and iOS versions to help us answer. We use this only to reply to you and to improve Pali, and we delete it when it's no longer needed.
7. Analytics, ads and tracking
Pali has no analytics, no ads and no third-party SDKs, and it doesn't track you across apps or websites.
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. They never include your diary.
8. Your choices and rights
You can export or delete everything Pali stores at any time: export in Settings > Export and import, delete in Settings > Delete all data, or simply delete the app.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You're always welcome to contact us about your rights under laws such as Brazil's LGPD or the EU's GDPR.
9. Children
Pali is meant for adults living with chronic pain and is not directed to children.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

Support
Questions, ideas or a problem? Write to us. In the app, Settings > Feedback opens an email with your app and iOS versions already filled in.
dev@pytyvolabs.comHow do I move my diary to a new iPhone?
If you set up the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, your diary comes along. Otherwise, on the old iPhone go to Settings > Export and import, share the Backup file somewhere you trust (Files or AirDrop), then on the new iPhone open the same screen and choose Import a backup.
My Apple Health data doesn't show up.
iOS doesn't tell apps what you allowed. In the Health app, open your profile, go to Apps, choose Pali and turn on Sleep, Steps and Menstrual Flow. Data only appears for days that have it in Health.
Reminders don't arrive.
Check that notifications for Pali are on in your iPhone's Settings > Notifications, and that the reminders are on in Pali under Settings > Reminders. The daily reminder skips days you have already logged.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings > Delete all data erases your diary from the iPhone. Deleting the app does the same.
